Ukraine: We support the independence of the International Criminal Court
Kyiv, October 9 (Hibya) - Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that, as a state party to the Rome Statute, it supports the International Criminal Court and attaches importance to protecting the court’s independence and integrity.
Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its support for the International Criminal Court (ICC) and for the court’s independence and integrity.
The statement said the ICC is a vital institution for holding those responsible for crimes committed by Russia accountable and for ensuring justice for victims.
Ukraine said it remains committed to continuing cooperation with other states parties to the Rome Statute to ensure the court can operate effectively.
