Trump: Israel and Lebanon will meet at the White House for the first time in 44 years
Washington, April 16 (Hibya) – U.S. President Donald Trump made a statement regarding the meeting that the leaders of Israel and Lebanon will hold at the White House following the ceasefire reached between the two countries, as well as Britain’s energy policies.
U.S. President Donald Trump shared assessments regarding diplomatic developments in the Middle East, as well as renewable energy and the use of fossil fuels.
Providing information about the process between Israel and Lebanon, Trump said: “We made a deal with Lebanon. We have a ceasefire with Israel and Lebanon. They will probably come to the White House within the next 4-5 days, and they will meet for the first time in 44 years.”
Criticizing Britain’s energy strategy, Trump stated: “Britain should open up the North Sea. They should use it instead of buying oil from places using the same resource. They are building wind turbines.”
Repeating his stance on renewable energy sources, Trump said: “Wind turbines do only one thing: they leave you unemployed.”
