According to a statement released by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), IDF troops in the Southern Command carried out an attack in the central Gaza Strip and neutralized Mohammed Abu Maluh, who was operating at a Hamas production center.

The statement said that Abu Maluh served as a central information figure within Hamas and produced weapons that posed a threat to IDF forces and Israeli civilians operating in the area during the ceasefire agreement.

It was stated that IDF troops in the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue their operations to eliminate any immediate threats.
