Tasheva meets Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Bulgaria Hartog
Sofia, July 9 (Hibya) – Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivanka Tasheva received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Bulgaria, Artur den Hartog.
According to a statement by Bulgaria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Foreign Minister Ivanka Tasheva received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Bulgaria, Artur den Hartog.
During the meeting, the two sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data centers, trade, and investment. They emphasized that joint technology- and economy-focused projects would further advance bilateral relations.
The meeting also addressed successful cooperation in maritime security and maritime affairs. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of strengthening and modernizing defense capabilities, especially in the Black Sea region, while stressing that peace and security in Europe must be safeguarded through solidarity and shared responsibility.
Deputy Minister Tasheva and Ambassador den Hartog also exchanged views on current issues, including the European Union's enlargement process, the war in Ukraine, the Multiannual Financial Framework, and the management and resilience of critical infrastructure.
The parties reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining and further developing political and expert-level dialogue on all issues of mutual interest.
