Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, in his message marking the religious and national holiday, highlighted the security forces on duty and extended his best wishes to personnel working away from their families and to citizens.

Expressing his holiday wishes, Tajani said, "I wish everyone a happy Ferragosto, especially those who are still away from their families and loved ones today."

Paying special tribute to personnel on duty, Minister Tajani concluded his message by saying, "I extend my special greetings to law enforcement officers and all the Armed Forces committed to ensuring our security within and beyond our borders."
