Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated in his Europe Day message that Ukraine’s connection to Europe is based not only on geography, but also on shared values.

Sybiha said that Ukraine defends Europe’s fundamental principles such as freedom, democracy, and human dignity, adding that his country’s struggle is also being fought for Europe’s future.

Emphasizing that Ukraine makes significant contributions to Europe in the fields of security, economy, and energy, Sybiha stated that a strong Ukraine would also strengthen Europe.

Thanking European countries for their solidarity, Sybiha said that Europe’s greatest strength is unity and that Ukraine should be a strategic part of this structure.
