Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha made a statement regarding the Russian forces’ air attack targeting a civilian facility in the Sumy region.

Referring to the details and consequences of the attack, Sybiha said, “Today, Russia once again attacked a civilian facility in the Sumy region belonging to the world-renowned American multinational company Mondelez International. Two Russian drone strikes damaged the facility’s buildings and injured several employees. Fortunately, there were no fatalities.”

Drawing attention to the economic and global dimension of the attacks, Sybiha said, “These systematic and deliberate Russian attacks on American business interests in Ukraine demonstrate that Russian aggression is not only a threat to Ukraine, but also a direct blow to American economic interests in Europe.”
