Students from Pleven showcase projects in chemistry and software technologies
Sofia, July 8 (Hibya) - Students from the "Prof. Asen Zlatarov" Vocational High School of Electronics and Chemical Technologies in Pleven, Bulgaria, are developing chemistry and information technology projects with practical applications in the industrial, healthcare, and security sectors.
According to a statement by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science, students from the "Prof. Asen Zlatarov" Vocational High School of Electronics and Chemical Technologies in Pleven are developing chemistry and information technology projects that can be applied in industry, healthcare, and security.
Deputy Minister of Education and Science Prof. Dr. Eng. Senya Terzieva visited the school and examined the projects developed by the students in a real working environment.
In the chemical technology laboratory, students demonstrated the development and production processes of innovative cosmetic products, putting their theoretical knowledge of technology, laboratory control, quality assurance, and safety into practice.
Students from the Information Technologies Department introduced their "Smart Fire Alarm System" project, which brings together future software developers and computer network specialists on a shared platform.
Through this project, in which students independently developed both the hardware consisting of sensors and electronic components and the software infrastructure providing real-time monitoring, they gain hands-on experience in collaborative engineering based on the working models of high-tech companies.
