According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the meeting was co-chaired by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Burkina Faso's Foreign Minister Jean Marie Traore, representing the Confederation of Sahel States.
During the talks, the parties held detailed discussions on strengthening the dialogue mechanism between Russia and the Confederation of Sahel States and enhancing cooperation.
