Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

According to CCTV, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi held a telephone conversation to discuss developments in the Strait of Hormuz.

During the call, the two ministers reviewed bilateral relations, regional developments and the security of navigation through the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.

The ministers exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and stressed the importance of continuing coordination and consultations to preserve regional security and stability. They also emphasized the need to support diplomatic efforts aimed at ensuring safe and free passage through the strategic waterway.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said that Iran and Oman were holding talks regarding the Strait of Hormuz. Baghaei stated that the discussions were “bilateral matters between the two countries” and were not connected to the United States.

Iranian media also reported that an Omani diplomatic delegation arrived in Tehran on Friday, with the visit aimed at establishing an appropriate mechanism for managing maritime traffic in the strait.

According to data from analytics firm Kpler, despite the pause in US-Iran hostilities, the daily number of commercial vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz remained in single digits between July 24 and 26.
