Sanchez: Potential threat in plane crash analyzed, but no confirming information
Bogota, March 27 (Hibya) - Colombian Defense Minister Pedro Sanchez stated that possible threat scenarios were evaluated in the plane crash in Puerto Leguizamo, but there is no information to confirm it.
Colombian Defense Minister Sanchez noted that the crew involved in the plane crash in Puerto Leguizamo were fully trained and qualified.
Sanchez said that the runway was suitable for operations and that meteorological, atmospheric, and topographical conditions allowed for takeoff, adding, "A potential threat was also analyzed, but so far there is no information to confirm it."
Sanchez also emphasized that speculation is not an option and stated that technical work is being carried out meticulously to determine exactly what happened.
