Plenkovic’s assessment of energy and transport in Primorsko-Goranska
Zagreb, March 27 (Hibya) - Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic held talks on energy infrastructure, motorway projects, and the maritime sector as part of his contacts in the Primorsko-Goranska Region.
Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic held various meetings as part of his visit to Croatia’s Primorsko-Goranska Region. Stating that they inspected the LNG Terminal and the JANAF Terminal in Omišalj during the visit, Plenkovic said, “These facilities make Croatia an important energy hub in this part of Europe.”
Plenkovic also said that, as part of the visit, they attended the signing of the contract for the construction of the Križišće-Jadranovo subsection, noting that it is part of the A7 Motorway and forms a critical transport link between the northern Adriatic and other parts of the country.
Plenkovic also stated that they reviewed development projects in the region with Rijeka Mayor Iva Rincic and officials from the Primorsko-Goranska Region. He also noted that they met with the executives of ACI Marinas and Jadrolinija.
On the other hand, Plenkovic said that they visited the ACI Marinas headquarters in Rijeka and received information about the institution’s activities and future plans ahead of the new maritime season. Plenkovic said, “We are pleased that ACI is entering a new investment period aimed at modernizing marinas and improving service quality.”
