Rubio: We are conducting joint counterterrorism operations with Nigeria
Washington, June 3 (Hibya) - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the United States is concerned about violence against Christians in Nigeria and is actively cooperating with the Nigerian government and security forces in counterterrorism efforts.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the United States is actively engaged in counterterrorism cooperation with the Nigerian government and security forces.
Rubio said that during a joint operation carried out a few weeks ago, the second-highest-ranking figure in the global ISIS network was neutralized, adding: "We are actively conducting counterterrorism cooperation with Nigeria."
