Radman: Czech police officers contribute to tourist safety on the Adriatic
Split, July 23 (Hibya) - Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman met with Czech police officers in Split. Radman said their contribution to the "Safe Tourist Destination" project strengthens cooperation between the two countries.
Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman met with police officers from the Czech Republic during his visit to Split.
In a post on social media, Radman said Czech police officers have been participating in the "Safe Tourist Destination" project since 2008 and that a total of 159 Czech officers have taken part in the initiative to date.
Radman noted that Czech tourists are among Croatia's most loyal visitors, adding that more than 780,000 Czech tourists visited Croatia last year, while the number of Czech visitors increased by 3.6 percent in the first half of this year.
Radman said Czech police officers contribute to the safety of tourists along the Adriatic coast and highlighted the importance of cooperation between the two countries.
