R4 Group condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia
Islamabad, October 11 (Hibya) - The R4 Group, comprising Türkiye, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, condemned the Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia and demanded their immediate and unconditional cessation.
In a joint statement issued in Islamabad, the R4 Group stated that the ongoing Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia were targeting civilian sites, including King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
The statement noted that the attacks had killed and injured civilians and damaged civilian infrastructure and facilities, emphasizing that the attacks constituted a clear violation of international law.
The statement said the attacks violated Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and territorial integrity and posed a direct threat to the country's security and stability, as well as the safety of civilians.
Expressing the R4 Group's solidarity with Saudi Arabia, the statement affirmed support for the legitimate measures and steps the country would take to protect its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
The statement held the Houthis responsible for the consequences of the attacks and their repercussions, which threaten regional and international peace and security, and demanded that the attacks cease immediately and unconditionally.
