Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot met with B.N. Markussen, who has taken office as the European Union's Special Representative for the Sahel.

Noting that developments in the Sahel directly affect not only the people of the region but also Europe, Prevot said, "The fact that engagement in the region is becoming more difficult does not diminish the Sahel's strategic importance. Our security, stability, and prosperity are closely interconnected."

Prevot stated that his recent visits to Burkina Faso and Niger had strengthened his determination to keep channels of dialogue open. "We must keep channels of dialogue open even when we disagree," he said. Emphasizing that Belgium strongly supports the EU's renewed approach based on mutual respect, open dialogue, and pragmatic cooperation, Prevot stressed the need to continue working together to address shared challenges.
