Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said in a Persian-language post on his social media account that Iran has adopted an anti-war approach.

Pezeshkian said the Islamic Republic of Iran has adopted a policy of avoiding the escalation of tensions in order to protect the interests of the people and ensure regional security.

Pezeshkian said that if Iran is forced, as it has been in the past, to defend itself against aggression, it will continue its resistance. He added that this struggle would continue with increasing strength until the aggressors reach “complete regret,” while the rights of the Iranian nation would be protected.
