Palestinian Foreign Minister Shahin meets French Special Envoy for Palestine Baran
Ramallah, November 2 (Hibya) – Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Varsen Aghabekian Shahin met with Andre Baran, France's Special Envoy for Strengthening the State of Palestine.
According to a statement by the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the meeting addressed the latest developments in Palestine and current challenges.
The two sides also reviewed efforts to establish the necessary conditions on the ground and political conditions for the upcoming Palestinian elections, strengthen joint cooperation and develop political dialogue that would contribute to achieving a just and comprehensive peace.
The meeting was also attended by Undersecretary for Political Affairs Ambassador Omar Awadallah and Director of the European Affairs Department Senior Adviser Ghada Arafat.
