Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Varsen Aghabekian Shahin was received by Chairman of Libya's Presidential Council Mohammed Menfi at the Presidential Council headquarters in Tripoli.

According to a statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shahin conveyed greetings from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to Menfi at the beginning of the meeting.

Shahin praised Menfi's "consistent national position" on the Palestinian issue and commended his support for the rights of the Palestinian people. The statement also highlighted the position demonstrated by Menfi during his participation in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The meeting addressed the development of cooperation between Libya and Palestine and the expansion of its scope. The strengthening of brotherhood and solidarity between the two countries, as well as developments in the Middle East, were also discussed.

The parties also discussed ongoing violations against the Palestinian people, which constitute serious violations of international law and international humanitarian law.

Shahin briefed Menfi on the latest political developments concerning the Palestinian issue, as well as developments on the ground and the humanitarian situation. The meeting also addressed strengthening consultations and coordination of positions between the two countries and aligning their views on common issues at regional and international forums.

At the end of the meeting, Menfi was presented with a commemorative plaque by the State of Palestine in recognition of his national support for the Palestinian cause and his continued solidarity with the Palestinian people's struggle for their legitimate rights, including the right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state.
