Pakistan Foreign Minister Dar speaks with Egyptian counterpart Abdelatty
Islamabad, August 14 (Hibya) - Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar held a telephone conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Abdelatty.
According to a statement by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abdelatty congratulated Pakistan's leadership, government and people on Independence Day and wished them peace, progress and prosperity.
During the conversation, Dar and Abdelatty reaffirmed the close and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Egypt. The two ministers expressed their shared determination to further develop cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The sides also discussed increasing high-level contacts and strengthening institutional cooperation.
They also exchanged views on regional and international developments. The two ministers agreed to remain in contact.
