Mustafa: We will digitalize 50% of public services by 2028
Ramallah, April 28 (Hibya) – Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa announced targets for education, employment, and digital transformation in the field of artificial intelligence.
Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa spoke at the Palestine Artificial Intelligence Week 2026 event.
Mustafa stated that the event was held with the participation of more than 25 local and international institutions.
Referring to AI targets, Mustafa said: “We will train more than 10,000 people for the future and provide employment and skills opportunities to 1,000 graduates each year.”
Regarding digital transformation efforts, Mustafa said: “We are developing the legal and regulatory framework and strengthening infrastructure and cybersecurity.”
Mustafa added: “We aim to digitalize 50% of key public services by 2028 and reduce processing times by 70%.”
Emphasizing that Palestine aims to take an active role in AI, Mustafa said: “Palestine seeks not only to be a consumer of AI but also a partner in its development and implementation.”
