Major European stock market indices continued trading with a mixed performance.

The pan-European STOXX 600 index traded at 635.16 points, while Germany's DAX stood at 24,740.36 points and France's CAC 40 index at 8,385.49 points.

In the United Kingdom, the FTSE 100 index rose 0.31 percent to 10,461.63 points, maintaining a positive performance. Meanwhile, Italy's FTSE MIB index fell 0.74 percent to 51,638.94 points.

Overall, European markets displayed a largely flat and mixed performance, with the UK market outperforming on gains while selling pressure weighed on Italian equities.
