Milatovic: Montenegro is closer than ever to its European Union goal
Podgorica, July 6 (Hibya) – Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic announced that during his meeting with the delegation of the European Affairs Committee of the Dutch Parliament, they discussed the final stage of Montenegro’s European Union accession process and cooperation between the two countries.

Milatovic stated that the discussions focused on the final stage of the accession negotiations, reforms in the field of the rule of law, and strengthening cooperation between Montenegro and the Netherlands. He noted that the Netherlands’ support carries particular importance as that of a partner that values tangible results in the European Union accession process.
Milatovic said, “Montenegro’s European path is being built on results, reforms, and the trust of our partners. Today, Montenegro is closer than ever to its European goal. Our objective is to conclude the negotiations and become the next member of the European Union.”
