A meeting of Pakistan's Committee on the Rationalization of Overseas Missions was held under the chairmanship of Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

According to a statement issued by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the committee completed its comprehensive review aimed at improving the performance, functional and organizational structure, and overall effectiveness of Pakistan's diplomatic missions abroad.

It was announced that the recommendation report prepared following the review has been finalized for submission to the Prime Minister.
