Macron: We will reaffirm a stronger Europe within NATO
Paris, June 24 (Hibya) - French President Emmanuel Macron stated that since the G7 summit in Evian, an important turning point has been reached in which the interests of Europe and the United States have converged on issues concerning Ukraine and the Middle East.
French President Emmanuel Macron commented on the strategic partnership in transatlantic relations, diplomatic contacts with European allies, and the upcoming NATO Summit.
Drawing attention to the consensus within the Western alliance and his meetings in Berlin, Macron said: “Since the G7 summit in Evian, we have been experiencing an important turning point: the convergence of European and American interests regarding Ukraine and the Middle East. To advance and support this momentum, I am meeting with our German, British, Italian, and Polish partners in Berlin.”
Highlighting the next important step for the future of the alliance, Macron stated: “The next important step: early July. The NATO Summit in Ankara will allow us to reaffirm a stronger Europe within NATO.”
