Nicosia, April 23 (Hibya) - French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized the importance of ties between the two countries following his meeting with President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides.

Expressing his satisfaction with his contacts in Nicosia, Macron said, “Mr. President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides, we are strengthening our strategic partnership together for a more sovereign Europe.”
Highlighting the friendship between the two countries, Macron added, “Thank you for your hospitality in Nicosia and for your friendship. France loves Cyprus!”
