Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva emphasized the unity and solidarity of the people during his engagements in Porto Alegre.

In a Portuguese-language post on his social media account, Lula thanked the people of Porto Alegre and said, “It is emotional to feel the energy of a people who keep hope alive and wage a united struggle for the future of our country.”

Stating that the unity of the people is important for Brazil’s future, Lula said that from this unity comes the courage that will move the country forward and transform it.

Lula concluded his post with the words, “When the people unite, Brazil moves forward.”
