Lula: Bolsonaro family paved the way for gambling games
Brasilia, October 24 (Hibya) - Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva criticized the Bolsonaro family for paving the way for the spread of online gambling, arguing that the situation had led families into debt.
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva alleged in a statement that the Bolsonaro family had contributed to the widespread popularity of the game known as Tigrinho and online betting in Brazil. Lula stated that the growth of the gambling industry had increased household debt and raised concerns about consumer protection.
Lula said he had therefore taken measures to combat deceptive practices in gambling, arguing that workers' earnings should be used to provide food, education for their children and decent living conditions.
