Jetten: The Council of Ministers attaches great importance to cooperation with the Caribbean region
Amsterdam, May 8 (Hibya) - Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten announced the start of a broad visit program covering the countries and special municipalities in the Caribbean region of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten stated before the visit that strengthening ties within the Kingdom and increasing regional cooperation are among the priorities.
Explaining the Council of Ministers’ approach to the issue, Jetten said, “The Council of Ministers attaches great importance to good and strong cooperation with the Caribbean region of our Kingdom.”
Sharing details about the stops on the visit, Jetten stated, “To reinforce this, I am now traveling to the country of Sint Maarten, the special municipalities of the Netherlands — Saba, Sint Eustatius and Bonaire — and then to the Caribbean countries of our Kingdom, Aruba and Curaçao.”
Expressing his excitement about the process, Prime Minister Jetten said, “I am truly looking forward to it!”
