Fletcher: Canada is an important partner in humanitarian efforts
Ottawa, November 3 (Hibya) - Tom Fletcher, head of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), discussed humanitarian efforts with Canada's Secretary of State for International Development, Randeep Sarai.
OCHA head Tom Fletcher stated that he had met with Canada's Secretary of State for International Development, Randeep Sarai, in Ottawa. The meeting addressed monitoring the impact of the Humanitarian Reset process, as well as the political challenges and opportunities involved in advancing the humanitarian movement.
Describing Canada as an important and consistent partner in humanitarian efforts, Fletcher said the meeting had been productive.
