Estonia supports wildfire response efforts in Southern Europe
Tallinn, July 27 (Hibya) - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna expressed solidarity with the countries affected by the wildfires in Southern Europe, announcing that Estonia will send a firefighting team to support operations on Italy's island of Sardinia.

Tsahkna announced that in the coming days, a wildfire response team from the Estonian Rescue Board will be deployed to support firefighting operations on the Italian island of Sardinia.
Thanking the firefighters and emergency response personnel battling the blazes, Tsahkna said the teams were making great sacrifices to protect lives, homes, and the natural environment.
He added that the wildfires in Southern Europe once again highlight the importance of preparing for climate change, protecting the environment, and strengthening the resilience of communities.
