President of the European Council Antonio Costa said that cooperation in the fields of security, defense, trade and regional integration has advanced considerably.

Costa noted that joint efforts between the parties have made remarkable progress in recent years and said they aim to achieve even greater cooperation for the benefit of democracy, the economy and citizens.

Highlighting the expanding scope of cooperation, Costa said: “It is remarkable to see how much our cooperation has evolved in the areas of security and defense, growth and trade, strengthening resilience and regional integration.”

Stating that they continue to work toward common goals, Costa added: “We are working hand in hand to achieve more together for our democracies, economies and citizens.”
