Bulgarian Navy transfers drone found in the Black Sea to base area
Sofia, September 7 (Hibya) - The Bulgarian Navy transferred an unmanned aerial vehicle detected northeast of Cape Kaliakra in the Black Sea to the base area following reconnaissance and identification procedures.
The Bulgarian Navy carried out a reconnaissance and transport mission involving an unmanned aerial vehicle found in the waters of the Black Sea.
According to a statement by the Bulgarian Ministry of Defence, an expert team from the Varna Naval Base was assigned on the afternoon of September 6 following a signal and request from the Ministry of Interior.
The team moved to inspect the unmanned aerial vehicle observed 3.5 meters northeast of Cape Kaliakra. Following reconnaissance and identification procedures, the drone was determined to be safe and was transported to the base area.
It was announced that the personnel acted in accordance with the orders of the Chief of the General Staff and the Commander of the Navy.
