Brazilian President Silva spoke with Colombian President Petro
Brasilia, March 11 (Hibya) - Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva held a phone call with Colombian President Gustavo Petro.
Lula da Silva stated that regional integration in Latin America and the Caribbean was discussed during the conversation. The leaders also exchanged views on the preparations for the CELAC Summit to be held in Bogotá on March 21.
It was noted that Petro provided information about the CELAC-Africa meeting scheduled to take place on the morning of March 21. Lula da Silva also confirmed that they will attend the fourth edition of the event titled “Defending Democracy,” which will be organized by the Spanish government in Barcelona on April 18.
