Berendsen: We cannot accept the current European Union budget proposal
Amsterdam, October 10 (Hibya) - Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen said the European Union budget should be modern and affordable, adding that they cannot accept the current proposal.
Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen, commenting on the European Union budget, said clearer priorities should be set for investing in Europe’s security, competitiveness and independence.
Berendsen said they could not accept the current budget proposal, noting that reaching an agreement did not appear possible unless a more ambitious approach was adopted.
