Albares: Israel’s decision on Southern Lebanon violates international law
Madrid, May 28 (Hibya) - Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares expressed concern over the escalating military tension in Lebanon and called on Europe to support dialogue and peace.
Spanish Foreign Minister Albares made statements regarding the increasing military tension in Lebanon.
Albares said they were “deeply concerned” about the escalation in the region, describing Israel’s declaration of Southern Lebanon as a “war zone” as contrary to international law and unacceptable.
Minister Albares also referred to the European meeting held in Cyprus, emphasizing that European countries should continue to maintain a common stance in favor of dialogue and peace.
