Albares expresses solidarity with Romania after drone intervention
Madrid, August 16 (Hibya) - Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares issued a statement on the drone incident in Romanian airspace following a conversation with Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Toiu.

Albares said he thanked his Romanian counterpart in connection with the intervention by Spanish Air Policing pilots, under NATO, to shoot down a drone in Romanian airspace.
Highlighting the importance of Spain’s solidarity with its NATO allies for Euro-Atlantic security, Albares said, “Spain’s work and solidarity are key to Euro-Atlantic security.”
