Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov was making his first visit to Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion. He noted that Bayramov began his visit by touring a school, a hospital and a rehabilitation center in Irpin that have been supported by Azerbaijan.

Expressing his appreciation for the visit, Zelensky said, "We are deeply grateful that you found the opportunity to come and support us during these difficult days for our country and our people. Thank you for your solidarity with our people."

Providing details of the meeting, Zelensky said, "I briefed him on Russia's ongoing attacks against Ukraine, the situation in the Black Sea, and Russia's blockade of the grain corridors. We discussed high-level diplomatic contacts, defense partnership, and economic cooperation in the energy sector, the oil and natural gas industry, and agriculture."
