Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky released a message on the occasion of Ukraine's Navy Day.

Addressing naval personnel, Zelensky said that members of the Navy play a vital role in maintaining control over Ukraine's maritime domain and protecting the country's southern regions.

In his message, he said:
"Ukraine's Navy Day. I thank all members of the Navy, marines, ship crews, coastal defense units, and everyone serving in the Navy. Thanks to your courage, our maritime area remains under Ukraine's control, our southern regions are protected from Russian attacks, and the marines, together with other units, are stopping the enemy on the most difficult front lines."

Zelensky said that the Ukrainian Navy demonstrates its strength not only through its equipment and ships but also through its professionalism and determination. "Professionalism, determination, and devotion to the country have produced results that all of Ukraine is proud of," he said.

He also stated that efforts to strengthen the Navy would continue and paid tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives for Ukraine. "We remember everyone who gave their lives for Ukraine. Eternal honor to our heroes," he said.
