Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

According to a statement by CENTCOM, U.S. Central Command and 5th Fleet assets assisted in the rescue of 14 Indian sailors following a maritime accident in the Northern Arabian Sea region.

The statement said that after the distress call was received, a P-8 reconnaissance aircraft already operating in the area arrived at the scene and deployed life rafts into the sea for the sailors. The sailors boarded the rafts and were initially kept safe.

Later, the commercial vessel M/V Jabal Ali 9 arrived in the area and rescued 11 crew members from the water. After one of the life rafts capsized due to adverse weather conditions, an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the USS Abraham Lincoln rescued three additional sailors.

The rescued sailors were transferred to the commercial vessel and were reported to be in good health. The USS Michael Murphy also supported the search-and-rescue operation.

The statement noted that the U.S. 5th Fleet's area of responsibility covers a vast maritime region and that international maritime security operations continue.
