Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Ministers in the United Kingdom convened to discuss developments in the Middle East and Iran’s actions regarding the Strait of Hormuz.

In a statement following the meeting, it was noted that a viable plan had been developed with partners to protect international maritime transport.

Ministers condemned Iran’s expansion of attacks to also target international vessels, stating: “The United Kingdom will continue to defend its people, interests, and allies in accordance with international law.”

Meanwhile, the UK government expanded the scope of the use of British bases in US operations against Iran-linked targets, approving their use within the framework of US defensive operations.

It was emphasized that this decision also covers operations against capabilities used in attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz, while stressing that the UK will not directly participate in such attacks.
