Turkish Government hands out Arabic self-protection brochures against the Coronavirus

Turkey’s Directorate of Communications, a communications division under the Turkish Presidency, is handing out pamphlets in Arabic that gives information on how to avoid the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Turkey is running active prevention and briefing operations against the spread of the virus outside of her borders.

Pamphlets warning against the Coronavirus and instructions on how to avoid it are being handed out by Turkey’s Ministry of Health at Olive Branch, Euphrates Shield and Peace Spring operational areas. These areas are within the safe-zone Turkey has designated at Northwest Syria and conducted several operations to maintain.
These pamphlets are also being handed out at regions dense in Syrian migrant population and temporary shelters.

Pamphlets go into detail on how the virus spreads, its symptoms and explains how to protect from the deadly disease in 14 steps.

Muhammed Abdo, resident of Afrin’s Hamam village in Syria, said that he examined the brochures and said that they were very helpful. Abdo thanked the Turkish government.

Azime Uleyn, another resident of Hamam said “We are trying to protect ourself from the virus by sitting at our homes. Thank you Turkey for your efforts here.”
