Tsahkna said they honor the dedication shown by the Estonian people and diplomatic corps for more than three decades in making the country an innovative, resilient and prosperous state and a reliable partner in the European Union (EU) and NATO.

Emphasizing that freedom should never be taken for granted, Tsahkna said it must be protected every day through words, choices and actions.

Tsahkna noted that Ukraine is fighting for its freedom and for the security of all Europe, saying that it is Estonia's duty to stand fully and resolutely with Ukraine at every step.
