Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

According to CCTV, tensions between the United States and Iran have escalated further following new developments around the Strait of Hormuz.

The naval force of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it had stopped four vessels in recent hours, claiming they were attempting to pass through the strait with U.S. support. It also alleged that two oil tankers exploded and caught fire after passing through a mined route.

In a statement, the IRGC Navy said the interception of the vessels was carried out in a joint operation involving missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. Iran also called on ship owners to take previous warnings and statements seriously.

The IRGC claimed that the Strait of Hormuz is "extremely dangerous" under current conditions. The statement further alleged that the strait had been completely closed due to what it described as "hostile actions" by the United States, adding that if U.S. attacks continue, exports of fertilizer, oil, and gas from the region would not be possible.

These claims were rejected by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).

CENTCOM described the IRGC's claim that two oil tankers exploded after striking mines as "false," indicating that the reported incident could not be independently verified.

On the other side of the tensions, U.S. Central Command announced that the maritime blockade in the Strait of Hormuz is being strictly enforced and that forces remain on high alert.

According to the United States, since the blockade was reimposed, four commercial vessels have been forced to alter their routes, one vessel has been disabled, and another has been boarded to ensure compliance with blockade rules.
