Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani assessed the situation following the earthquake in Molise and thanked the teams working on the ground.

Providing information about the aftermath of the earthquake and his conversation with regional authorities, Tajani said, "Regarding the earthquake that struck Molise, I conveyed my best wishes to Region President Francesco Roberti. At this time, no injuries or significant damage have been reported."

Referring to the efforts of the search and rescue teams, Tajani concluded his statement by saying, "I thank the Civil Protection Department, the Fire Brigade, and all rescue teams. The government stands by the affected areas."
