Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Antonio Tajani made a statement regarding international efforts to resolve the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and the stability of energy markets.

Highlighting the importance of international cooperation in resolving the crisis, Tajani said: "I attended a meeting on the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz with more than 40 countries from all continents. We must all work within the United Nations' multilateral framework to quickly end the war."

Outlining priorities regarding food security and freedom of navigation, Tajani stated: "It is important to proceed through the UN not only to guarantee freedom of navigation in the strait, but also to establish a 'humanitarian corridor' for fertilizers in order to prevent a new food crisis in African countries."

Tajani also provided information on Italy’s diplomatic stance:

"Italy continues to work with its partners for the immediate de-escalation of tensions and calls on Iran to end all hostile actions in the strait. The priorities are to protect freedom of navigation and ensure the stability of energy markets."
