European stock markets showed mixed performance, according to closing data from October 20, 2026. The STOXX Europe 600 index stood at 638.64 points, Germany's DAX index at 25,304.42 points, and France's CAC 40 index at 7,838.49 points.
The UK's FTSE 100 index fell by 31.69 points to 10,733 points, while Italy's FTSE MIB index declined by 14.90 points to 49,071.37 points.
