Istanbul, October 26 (Hibya) - Major indices in global markets continue to search for direction, while investors' risk appetite varies across regions.
The Dow Jones index traded at 52,215.16 points, recording a decline of 1.23 percent, while the S&P 500 fell 0.52 percent to 7,623.68 points. The Nasdaq Composite declined 0.21 percent to 25,955.34 points, while a 2.21 percent increase in the S&P 500 VIX volatility index drew attention. This cautious picture in international markets indicates that selling pressure on major indices is driving short-term movements.
