Lahbib: Today’s threats are fast, complex, and interconnected
Brussels, March 23 (Hibya) - European Union Commissioner for Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib emphasized during the opening of the EU Preparedness Conference that Europe must be ready to face complex security threats, stating that a proactive strategy is being followed.
EU Commissioner for Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib inaugurated the EU Preparedness Conference, which aims to strengthen the European Union’s resilience against future crises.
Highlighting the importance of the conference, Lahbib said: "I am honored to open the EU Preparedness Conference. It is a crucial moment to build real momentum for further action."
Emphasizing the evolving nature of global and regional threats, Lahbib stated: "Today’s threats are fast, complex, and interconnected. In Europe, we have a clear choice: hope for the best or face reality and prepare."
Lahbib concluded her remarks by saying: "We are preparing."
