Kallas: Moscow continues to resort to terror against innocent people
Brussels, April 16 (Hibya) – EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas stated that Russia continues its attacks targeting Ukrainian civilians.
EU High Representative Kaja Kallas addressed Russia’s war strategy and its stance toward international law.
Speaking about Russia’s attacks, Kallas said: “Last night, Russia once again deliberately targeted and killed Ukrainian civilians. While its army is stalled on the battlefield, Moscow continues to resort to terror against innocent people.”
Emphasizing that Russia must be held accountable for its attacks, Kallas stated: “Russia wants more war, therefore our response is more support for Ukraine, more pressure on Russia, and full accountability for war crimes. Europe is taking action.”
Providing information on assistance, Kallas added: “In recent days, Germany and Ukraine signed a €4 billion arms agreement, the United Kingdom announced its largest drone package to date, and the Netherlands pledged €200 million in aid among other commitments.”
